Play It

The final chord in our progession is F Major.

Firstly, we must find our root note, in this case, F. It is located in the third fret on the fourth string. Use your ring finger to press it down.
The next note in the chord is A. This note is found in the second fret of the third string. Press it down with your middle finger.
C is the next note in the chord. It is found on the first fret of the second string. This can be pressed with your index finger.
The last note needed for our chord is another F. Using your index finger, press the first fret of the first string.
The C and the high F notes should be pressed simultaneously with the index finger by laying it flat across the two strings.

Note that the F chord can also be played as a Barre chord, wherein your index finger is placed across all six strings and a shape similar to that of an E major chord is made using your remaining fingers.
