The train flies over the tracks at a steady pace, rocking and shuddering with the terrain.

The wind outside howls loudly, almost violently. Like vengeful spirits trying to force their way into the train car. The night sky is black in the window, a void to somewhere cold and distant.
My aunt has long since fallen asleep. Not even the dead could wake her up after several glasses of red wine. I couldn't keep my eyes shut even with the two sleeping pills she gave me, or with the extra few I took after she passed out.

I don't really sleep much after the accident.
