Hey! Welcome to my site! If you want a little insight, then look over here. This is an html and css project website, based loosely on Albers color theory and practices. In simple terms we all played with different types of divisions and properties to create interesting and compelling web pages. On my own, I tended to focus on some specific themes of the albers color theory, including relative color, relationship between borders and boundries, and color interaction. In a lot of my pages I wanted to create illusions with colors, making some dissapear and some that tricks the eye into thinking they are there. I often used very small elements put right next to the other, matched with color schemes that help either help blend, or contrast to study how they would interact with eachother. Another goal of this site was to keep the studies somewhat simple, yet still striking as a study of how color interacts in different ways. For instance my transparancy based page as well as my one with the basic RGBCMYK split halfway between two other colors uses those basic computer colors to demonstrate thier relative relationships in a straightfoward manner. At the same time I wanted to make sure the pages were striking, for the right or wrong reasons. I liked playing with the colors and making combinations that may be considered ugly or pleasing so as to further play with the relationships between complimentary or incongruous colors and what effects those can create. As you navigate the site I urge that you spend time looking closely, and you may find that there is often more than meets the eye. Thank you and enjoy.
