OINGWORLD TREATISE

was written in a crunch in about a day, after the previous work was not found to be satisfactory. OINGS, a type of humanoid, people-like creature, have existed long before this project. They were a result of a particularly humorous way i learned to draw little figures while doodling in class, and I felt that their malleable nature took on a sort of interesting manner I would have liked to explore in the future, and I suppose this is a treatise on such.

I am a perfectionist to some degree, and this is part of the reason why I ended up ditching my previous idea. I did not think it meaningfully conveyed the anti-capitalist themes I wanted in a manner that was concise and clear to a general audience, because part of the deal with it was to weave the dialogue with poetry (I had been listening to a lot of milo's albums then) and so, eventually, on a whim, I ditched it. And though, ironically, the next iteration was finished in a literal day, I find that the end result is much more satisfying, as a result of the stronger creative vision behind it.
