I love all reptiles, so my first instinct was to create some kind of adventure with them. I have always wanted a bearded dragon and have never been able to get one, so making this kind of makes me feel a little better just by talking about them. This project, “Beardy Adventures,” is about a bearded dragon trying to "escape" a pet store, and he can do so in multiple ways depending on how the reader interacts with the pages. He can also not escape at all. Obviously I don’t know what goes through a beardy’s head, but I like to imagine that it would be something similar to what I have created. I know realistically they probably don’t think about anything other than eating, living, and making babies, but it’s always fun to imagine. I tried to include different behaviors of dragons, such as bobbing their heads, and the different viewpoints that people have of the animals themselves. The daughter in the story is very clearly a fan of them, with the mother not being so fond (this particular scenario is inspired by my personal experience.) Overall I had a lot of fun making this and I hope that you had just as much fun clicking through it! If you haven’t seen everything, maybe you could go back and try again?
