you flip absentmindedly through the pages of the manual...

some of the pages are in an odd script you dont recognize. it must be a translation into an alien tongue. the manual doesn't seem to give much information about the ship. instead it is describing various biological proccesses that form the galaxies.

there is a hint of light that emits from the alien script and you find your fingers moving over the strange characters. as you touch the words on the page they float up into the air forming a holographic image of a door. you stand and open the door...
